WHO WE ARE
The His Vision project was started by Melinda Wilson, a certified optician and co-owner of an optometric practice for over 15 years. His Vision is operated through the Humbly I Serve staff and volunteers; a group of dedicated people who have a desire to help end needless visual impairment both locally and globally.
The staff is paid through private donors. This allows all other donations to go straight toward the people who need it most.

Our focus at His Vision is on providing eye care to impoverished communities internationally. We are working locally, in Virginia and internationally in Haiti and the Carribbean. We provide free eye examinations, medical treatment, and prescription glasses in hopes of brightening the future of a child in need. Visual impairment can often be prevented or reduced if only the necessary treatments are available. Our vision is to eradicate needless blindness and visual impairment.

The first His Vision eye care trip took place in Cap Haitien, Haiti in February 2012. We were able to provide eye care to children at an orphanage and in several villages. This city is set to be the site of the first His Vision permanent eye clinic. If you are interested in donating to this project or joining the team on a future trip, we would love to hear from you.
